My 97 Ford Ranger has a fuel leak it happens when I put fuel in the tank and I can't figure out if it's actually the tank leaking or the tube from the gas cap down to the tank that's actually leaking. I think the tank is plastic so I don't think it would rust so I am thinking where the tank and the tube mate up has anyone had this problem and a possible fix?

Hey I just thought i would let you know this is a a very common problem with the Ford Ranger in about 92 to 97. You can buy the part on Ebay.com for about 70 bux or so and repair it yourself I don't know what it costs at the dealer.

What part do i buy on www.ebay.com is it the tube coming from the gas filler cap or actually the flange that connects it to the tank. I haven't taken this thing apart yet to really know what I am taklng about.
